Years ago when geomembranes were first introduced, only smooth surfaced were available but as the need for increased slope stability was realized, the manufacturing of textured geomembranes was introduced. The textured geomembranes allows high interface strength against soils, GCLs, textiles and other interfaces.
We manufacture HDPE Geomembrane with both single side and double side textured surface depending on the requirement of clients. Due to the rough surface of textured geomembranes it significantly increases friction coefficient so it is also more suitable for steep slope and vertical engineering design work which maximize the effective volume of geomembrane. They are also produced with smooth edges to enable high-quality thermal fusion welding between consecutive sheets. Heramb Unitech’s high-density polyethylene textured geomembrane liners exhibits the strongest multi-axial performance and the best shear strength, as well as the best elongation, biggest friction angles, and highest interface surface friction coefficient.
Geomembrane Liners offered by us are available in combinations of smooth/smooth, smooth/textured, and textured/textured surfaces.
