LLDPE geomembrane is manufactured from virgin polyethylene resins, offering great flexibility and outstanding resistance to low temperature and ultraviolet exposure. High-quality and economical, it is intended for long life and exhibits a high degree of strength and durability.
Geomembranes, or geosynthetic barriers, are planar sheets that are relatively impermeable to liquids. The sheets can be made with a variety of polymers including HDPE, linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polypropylene (PP).

HDPE liners (Geomembranes) are produced from High-Density Polyethylene resin. The manufacturing process involves film-blowing, adding carbon black, antioxidant, anti-aging, and UV-resistance components to form a sheet.
Geomembranes are most often made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), medium-density polyethylenes, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, or a similar kind of material.
TSF failures are often attributed to overtopping, stope stability failures, and earthquakes. Overtopping and slope stability are controllable through more rigorous design measures and higher safety factors.
