GeoFanMat is a geocomposite composed of a flexible, three-dimensional geomat with over 90% voids, made from thick polypropylene filaments fused at all contact points, and a metallic reinforcement made from double-twisted hexagonal mesh, produced with low-carbon steel wires, alloy, and additionally coated with a polymer specially developed for engineering works. The combination of geomat and metal reinforcement, forming a geocomposite, allows these elements to work together, giving the solution high anti-erosion properties with optimum tensile strength. For this reason, it is suitable for situations with slopes susceptible to erosion, with great heights and very steep gradients, as it combines the advantages of a geomat with those of a reinforcement element.
